Can't get into reverse gear; other gears OK ????

let the car roll back or forward just a bit or just hop up and down until it gives....common issue no worries

release clutch pedal, depress clutch pedal try again. forward gears are constant mesh helical cut, reverse is a straight cut gear, has to be lined up to go in

reverse is straight cut and no synchronizers !!! best way to get it in the gear is give it a tip of the throttle and should go right in
