main gripe you MS6 owners have?

That's not a very constructive comment. Let's keep the "People" bashing out of this. Were all supposed to be here to help each other. (friday)

Well honestly, I mean look at this post:

2) Engine refinement (or lack thereof):

3) Gearbox:

4) Fussy wheels/brake dust:

5) Stereo:

6) Fiddly advanced key functions:

7) Lack of a rear-seat pass-through:

8) Ultra-premium fuel requirement:

9) Front-end appearance:

I just have one question: DID YOU EVEN TEST DRIVE THE CAR?

Seriously, did you go to the dealership, close your eyes and just sign whatever they put in front of you?

I think people whine cause we like the car, it just has certain things that to us are clear as day that should have been fixed and mazda never did. Its not like any of us would go ahead and give up our cars. We whine out of love and regret that the car isnt as good out of the factory as its potential allows.

the people bitching in here are every car salesman's dream...they whine AFTER they buy it but nod their head through the whole buying process. Salesmen love dumb people. Its ok to compaint, but some LISTS are just absurd.

i hate(d) the clutch, but now i got used to it, and have ZERO problem...im so used to it, i dont like driving other manuals so much because i feel the clutch is so soft it doesnt have that feel to it. The MS6s lets you feel the engagement. Quite honestly, i enjoy intructing the few that get the opportunity to drive my car on how to drive it...they drive sticks, but i make them feel like noobs...then they stall, and I feel like the king.

The Bose sound system i have to admit was pure marketing, its sounds bad compared to the one I have on my Mazda3, or even my CX-7. But I could care less, the boost just makes it all go away...yum.

If you use the valet key (the grey one) in the door after you close it you can lock it while it is running.....on the sport model, but I gotta think this will work on the GT as well.

update to this. you can actually use the key in the fob, not just the valet key. (hand) you dont need to keep it in the car to keep the car running...so just pop the little bugger out, lock, and go about keeping warm/cool

how many millions of CLUNK threads were there around here when the mp3/msp came out? they were all over the place..

hahaha, actually I was wondering about this, you know how with the pro its only 1 stream per nozzle, but the 05-06 tribute nozzles are direct replacement and have the full wide windshield mist, would those fit on the speed6? i think the spray/mist is much then our 4 streams per nozzle, although they are better then the proteges nozzle.

My main gripe....the washer nozzles are recessed under the hood so I can't install those light up washer nozzles! :)

Thank Mazda for saving you.

No one is stopping you from drilling new holes in your hood to install them. Might as well install a quad-pack while you're at it. And some of those roof lights that big trucks have.

My main gripe is the doors don't lock automatically when the car starts moving. Would have cost Mazda $5 do add this circuit in - yeah its petty, but it anoys the hell outta me.

It would have cost Mazda $5x5000=$25,000 + the cost of labor and programming their robots to install it. Things add up. Be lucky you got cruise control and variable speed-sensing wipers.

?????????? we did? I thought we didnt get that. Don't remember the manual saying anything about that, but I got an 07 manual as a loaner

I'm staring at the MazdaUSA 06 brochure and on the back page under "Exterior Refinements" it says "Speed-sensitive variable intermittent wipers".

LOL That would be a head turner! The dealership would get a good laugh.

You won't regret it. I can find SOMETHING to complain about on every car I buy. You getting an 06 or 07?
