main gripe you MS6 owners have?

never said it was legal. Only said it was convenient. :) Now, I also would never leave the car on while in the city. It still dont meant others dont do it, and it dont mean it I will stop doing it until something probably happens, not that I'm hoping something will, I pray to (insert deity) it not will happen cause I love my baby to much. I dont do it leave it on and unlocked unless its in my driveway even though I would still like to lock it.

the alarm i had on my Protege had a "anti-carjack" feature that allowed me to set the alarm while it was running, if a door was opened without disarming, the alarm would go off, and the car would stall out and not restart.

I'm not sure I'd want that feature when someone was holding a gun to my head. Just let them take the car, it is replaceable...unlike your life.

for you guys who dont like the brake dust. walmart sells this product for the wheels and its suppose to repeal the brake dust... i have a bottle in my car right now, dont no the name, hell dont even know if it works. i never tried it, but it says it keeps your rims clean cause my mp3 dust a lot too...

Better make sure it doesn't damage the your rotors or calipers.

yeah, i never used it while driving, just when i wanted to warm up the car. i would take the remote with me and arm it while going back into the office/house. just peace of mind that if someone tried to steal my car, they couldn't.

In Minnesota it would be ******* great if the car could be locked while running. When it is -15 out you go sit in a car that is cold for five f in mins and let it warm up. Not that is why i would like to lock it and let it warm up from inside. So i geuss that is kinda a gripe that i have.

o ya and i would like to have an easyer way to get to the oil filter and drain plug. besides taking off the panal. Like a trap door, my ZR2 truck had that.

If you use the valet key (the grey one) in the door after you close it you can lock it while it is running.....on the sport model, but I gotta think this will work on the GT as well.

yup! just tested it. (thumb)

Well smart a$$. :D

If you are like me I carry my house keys on a seperate keychain from my car key. They just don't work well on the same ring. I gotta think the "credit card" key that comes with the GT has a similar problem. Mine just dosen't fold up right to be comfortable in my pocket so I keep the car key by itself, this means that while it is in the ignition I can take my house key ring out of my pocket, that has my valet key on it, and lock the door.

It's not that complicated.....it's not a remote start system either but it lets you start the car to let it warm up with less of a chance of the local punk stealing it.

"It keeps the preacher honest."....as I've heard before. :D

If somebody truly wants to steal your car they will steal it no matter what you do. That is an unfortunate fact of life.

My main problem is the other owners.

I've never seen so much whining on a forum.

That's not a very constructive comment. Let's keep the "People" bashing out of this. Were all supposed to be here to help each other. (friday)
