What is the difference between our sensor to the msp3 they both look the same! Even the sri seem to fit on the 1.6.

different compression ratio, which changes air/fuel ratio. instead of 14.7:1, it's smaller. i dont know exactly, but probably around 10:1

hey guys i have 99 LX protege 1.6l , and ever since i bought this Injen tuned cold air intake when i connect my MAF sensor my car will sputter between 2400 and 3400 rpm like its not getting gas...when my car sits over night and i turn it on first thing it runs great...then when it warms up 2 minutes later it starts sputtering and all that mess....does it matter if i accidently bought that Injen for my 1.6l when it was meant for a 1.8l ? ?? if i get a mod chip and tune the A/F ratio, install my exhaust it will balance out? ...advise please

I have the same issue i have a weapon-r sri. Whenever i accelarating it feels like the motor is jumping but if i hit the gas it goes away for a moment.

yes! it's because of the size of the piping. i'd say the piping is 2.5", whereas your tb is 2.25". you have too much air vs gas ratio
