MSP, The BLACKNESS!
Anyone know about this intake?
Will it help our MSP's to a noticable degree?

It's from JDM and props to the forum member who posted it Funnyweemister.

Is the JDM intake a two piece intake?
The stock looks to have runners going to a plenum all in one casting.
Is there another part to the JDM that is not in the photo?
Does the throttle body change positions with the JDM?
It looks like it mounts straight out intstead of what looks to be an angle with the stock manifold.

Does that bad boeey do something magic to the intake?
Good power? Worthy of an install?
It looks to have close to the same size openings how do the blades help? Wouldnt they restrict flow at WOT?

The one on the left is JDM. I'm pretty sure that with that, you would get a power increase, though you would throw a CEL. if you notice that the US one on the right has little valves on the bigger holes. That is the VICS/VTCS system. what that does is open up those bigger ports around 5000 RPM's to get more air to the engine. Without this system plugged in, the ECU thinks it isn't working, so throws the CEL.

Ok

Funnyweemister thoguht the one on the left was stock.
So the left is the JDM?

Yeah. Left is JDM. Oh BTW yashooa, i saw the yellow turd yesterday. I never really understood why it was called the Magic Turd until i saw it. A huge, yellow, pile of s***. (puke)

It like seeing an object from a magazine is real life.
The horror of the real life experience is sometimes hard to bear.

Careful they bite... and it's quite the unsanitary wound.

Uhh, that picture is of one intake, not two. The half on the right is the bottom. It bolts to the head. The part on the left is the top. It bolts to the bottom half of the intake. The throttle body and intake plumbing connect to this.

AH HAH!

Eureka! We have a winner!
I was wondering what was up.
Thanks now it comes together:D :D :D
So it is a two piece intake.

But riddle me this? Is it worth having on a MSP?

yes... i was thinking about buying that intake later on

[EDIT] BUT!!! i see a potential problem. that throttle body mount/intake entrance hole, will be on the left after bolting that intake together and on the engine. our throttle body mount is on the right... (someone please correct me, cuz i want this intake as well)

DOH! I sure am dumb!! lol Sorry yashooa!

But it still does pose a problem w/ that throttle body mount ( yes you are correct AFaceInTheCrowd). Ours is on the back right...

that manifold will be waste of money for MSP, as your intake is basically the same. (with exception of the upper plastic resonance chamber, which helps NA intake reverberation.)
