Whats happin'n?

Crap! Winters comming........... I have a great opportunity to get some eibach spring for my MP5 ...... I know great timing. Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you in winter climates have had any problems with getting stuck cause of lower ride heights? I would be switching to steel rims and winter tires also.

Thanks,

I think you'll be fine, as long as you have a good set of winter tires. I'm heading into my first winter with my P5 lowered and I bought some winter tires to help me get around...especially in the NW! You'll need to keep an eye out for those ice chunks that fall off of trucks...those will do some serious damage to your front lip.

Lower it. It won't matter anyways as it'll be lowered the next winter too. This will be my first winter w/ my car lowered.

Huh, I was going to ask the same question.

Anyone have any experience with tire chains (cables, really) on a lowered car? Is this safe?

You'll be fine, no worries. The Eibach kit does not drop the car enough to interfere with winter driving hazards.

As far as chains and cables go though, I haven't the slightest. Seems like it would be ok as long as you're careful.

winter?. . .what's that?

actually im holding off lowering my car too just in case i get to play in some snow when i drive up to NY to see family in dec
