Low-beam dilemma

So one of my low beams went out on my p5 and I had an extra set of H7's lying around. I had difficulty plugging the bulb into the white socket and then realized that the H7 was too small.

P5 low beams are H7's right? Unless I read wrong.

Here is a "render" of the situation.

I realize that my socket has 3 areas where the prongs can go into but I checked the back of the end and realized there were 2 wires coming out of the socket. My current low-beam bulbs are 2-pronged bulbs, but they are larger than the H7s I planned to replace them with. Is there more than 1 kind of H7? I just need a answer on what type of bulb I would need because my job requires driving at night. Thanks in advanced.

on the back of the oem bulb is a black plug "adapter." take that off and put it on your new bulb.

Oh okay. I didn't know it had an adapter. Thanks for the tip.
