I've got an extra bedroom in a condo near the Galleria I'm looking to rent out for $600/month all bills paid (power,water,phone,internet,cable....all you cover is food). Since I'm a car guy I figure it would be nice to find someone who was as well. the room has its own bathroom, and is pretty big. I'm ok with you going month to month.

The only downside is that there is only one garage spot(mine) and the extra parking, while plentiful, isn't covered.

I had four different roomates in college and I'm friends with all of them. I just have to be careful per all the legal responsibilities I have to my home owners association.
