I'm trying to find some "trusted" retailers to buy some black rims for my Toyo
16". If i can get them used but in good shape thats cool to. I am new to buying this kind of stuff and i don't want to get ripped off or get a crappy deal.

Thanks mount, i looked through them sites and I'm finding it hard to find flat black wheels for 16" at a reasonable price.

I'm still looking though. I'm sure something will pop at me.

cool ill look at those.

so far i found some 16 ADR INTENSE RIMS for a good price on ebay. There what i like towards look but there the last set so i dont know if theyll be around when i can pay for them.

i was wondering what should i be looking for in a size?

My current tires are P205/55R16. So what does that mean exactly? I'm assuming i would need 16"x8 right? Or is there any leeway so that i can broden my search for 16"x7's?

Most of my information on tire sizes and what the writing on the tire means has been from google but i rather have more indepth opinion from someone so that i don't end up spending alot of money on something that won't fit.

I just got my new wheels in today and had them put my old tires on my new wheels but.......

now i notice that when i reach 60 mph. my car starts shaking. Now the tires are 16x6.5 and the rims are 16x7 should i think that is the problem to my shaking? or did the dealer mount them wrong or something?

Ugh after a day of frustration i got new tires and it is balanced and all. The car still shakes a little but not as much since i have new tires on there and the other ones were old.

I was told from the shop i went to today that the rim was bent :( even though they were brand new in box. so i emailed the eBay seller and he said that i just need to get hub rings which is cheap for them so i'm going to try that before getting to pissed. All in all this has been crappy just for new tires and rims spent alot of money and i just hope the hub rings help it instead of sending rims back.

In the end it looks tight can't wait to get the car washed and get some pics up.

Also is it easy to put hub rings on? I'm hoping i can do it myself so i don't have to pay for to a garage after so much trying to figure the problem out.

Sounds like cheap machining. (or casting) It could be that the outer diameter and mounting hole pattern are not concentric. This will give the feel of being out of balance, but there is nothing you can do to balance it. Or the face that mounts against the rotors could not be machined flat. This will cause the wheel to wobble. Hopefully it is not a casting issue. If it is, might as well throw them away.

Hub centric rings are very easy to install. Basically all you have to do is take your rims off, put the hubcentric ring over the hole where your rim mounts, or inside the hole of the rim, and remount your rims. That's it! Just make sure to torque those lugnuts down so you don't have a rim come flying off!
