This is kinda a double post as I think I placed it in the wrong place earlier.
In any case, here is my question:
I own the car in my sig to perform the task of getting me back and forth to work everyday. For that it has done well. I have owned it a little over a year and have had to replace the clutch & timing belt. It has 118,000 miles on the clock.
my question is:
It'll soon be time to replace the air filter and I was wondering what good drop-in filters were out there or inexpensive intake systems. If I have to replace, I don't mind putting a little extra $$ into upgrading for the sake of better performance. I am familiar with K&N, and as I am interested in a cleanable filter, maybe not so much interested in the oily ones due to the problems you can have with sensors.
Are there any other inexpensive or free tricks that can be done to these cars for better mileage or more power without sacrificing mileage? Thanks!
J.D.
