Looking for a Roof Rack

Hey I'm looking for a cheap roof rack for my MP5, anyone know of a good place to buy in Toronto or are looking to sell theirs?

If you are looking for the one that bolts to the holes in the roof (along the black trim pieces) good luck. I found one a year ago for sale on a local car club site(google toronto protege club), and was damn lucky to be about the first person to click on the thread. They sell quick, and are in high demand.

a lot of people have them, its a matter of selling it for the lowest price. unless you know some other forum were people buy em up like candy?

The american one is not the same as the canadian one. To install the american one on a canadian market P5 you have to drop the headliner and drill holes through the roof. Canadian P5s have 4 holes along the strips on the roof. The roof rack bolts in from the top, and is totally removable. There is nothing holding it on from the underside.

Hmmm. . . didn't realize that they were different in that fashion.

I was fortunate that I got my P5 with a double bike rack. I'm not sure how the roof racks work. . . but my whole set up doesn't take advantage of those holes you're referring too. Always thought they should though. The bars that hold the bike trays themselves, clip onto the door surrounds and lock. I always thought that if you removed the bike trays, there would be something you could pop on the bars to have a roof rack.
