Looked at 2 P5s

I looked at 2 P5s over the weekend.

Which was nice. Had a crusty looking sparco shift knob on it, and no sunroof. Also the price is a bit steep.

It was black and also had no sunroof, but this one was a little off putting. The dealership was closed when I looked at it, but it had an empty Jager bottle on the seat, and some assorted food wrappers in it, and no radio. Then I discovered the door was unlocked. So I did some more investigating and peered in the glove box only to find an additional smaller empty Jager bottle, and some other strange Uncle Sam shaped liqure bottle, also empty. I dunno what the story is on this thing. (uhm)

i wouldn't consider either of those imo, 13.5 is what i paid for mine with 20 miles on it when it 1st came out, and the other one, well with all that s*** you just said, i don't think that is an option...

I'd say the first one is out of the question. $13.5 for an 02 with 45k miles??
I paid $13 even for an 03 with less than 10k miles at a dealership.

Second one is reasonable.. still a touch high IMHO. I'd see if you can get them
down to $11k though. $12k still seems a bit much concidering what I got mine for.
Both apear to be at major dealerships, but you may want to check with
an actual Mazda dealership. They may be able to work with the price more, and
personally, I have never fealt quite right about buying one brand from another.
IE: buing a Mazda from Acura or Toyota.

Well I know what they're worth. If I were to get the 1st one I'd only offer $9,500 tops. The 2nd one, I dunno. If I got a steal of a deal on it, I might go for it, but more then likely no. I am however going to visit that dealership just to see the salesman try to explain the condition that I found it in. (lol2)

The setups I'm trying to find this car in are:

Color: Red or Black first choice, then blue, white, navy blue, silver, and yellow last (no offence ghetto wag, but I just don't get down with yellow, too flashy)

5-speed

Sunroof (I'll settle for one without)

And leather or not, I don't care. I'd prolly preffer cloth interior actually.
