Long Trip

I had to fly from TN to MO to get my Spicy MSP and drove it the 600+ miles back. The seats are o.k. at best. Allow some stretch time. Off ramps and on ramps are about the only excitement you'll get on the interstate. The lack of cruise control does get old. Finally, make a couple of good mp3 cd's for cruise music. Otherwise, it's was uneventful.

Steves over the last 4 year I did the NJ to GA trip like 10 times.
First where do u need to go in GA?
Atlanta or Augsta?

Atlanta take I-95 to I-85
Augsta take I-95 stright

If you coming to atlanta here are some helpful tips

don't go >5 MPH in the 65 in NJ... they double the fine on ur ass (1-5 mile over = 160 dollars, 5-10 mile over = 180 and 10-15 over = 200 dollars fine. Any faster, call mommy to pick u up)

Delaware = 10 min drive....

Maryland = speed traps on down hills
VA = speed traps everywhere in Northern VA. But everyone drives fast as hell
NC = I got a 250 dollar ticket cuz of all the constructions
SC = some construction. but fun as hell to drive
GA = 70mph speed limit. floor it...

Let me guess the reason you coming to GA is to go to GT or have business in atlanta right?

1 last thing switch out ur springs to softer springs or u won't be able to keep lunch/dinner down.

Atlanta and a buddy is getting married,yes Iam taking I-95 to I-85 and thats for all the tips and how long did it ?

yep, people in VA speed like no there is no tommorrow
and the cops are merciless, thus, a wonderful combination
i stay 70-75 in a 65
i stay 60-65 in a 55
that is the best advice in VA, especially in the DC area
once you get to richmond, careful for the 100 yr old hwy, very bad indeed
on I95, stay on the left lane
the best in smothness in all 3 avialable

NJ - Atl = 12 - 14 hrs depending how fast you drive and how much times you stop

i have to agree md/va is speed trap hell along i-95...just got one this past weekend outside baltimore goin 80 in a 55...... 140 bucks...and i was in the slow lane with 3 other cars aorund me ?!!?!? i guess the msp stylin finally caught up ?!?!? anyway i drove down to florida last year in my gf's saturn.....leave in the early am and haul ass.....i left baltimore around 4am and i got to nc by 6am...never went below 85mph lol haha....sc and georgia has the best stretch of scenic hwy ...i luv the open area lol.....hopin to hit the trip again with my msp this summer.....100mph switchin lanes like whoooaaa...phhhsssiii

If you get the SC or GA we can go into the mountains where the speed is like 35 and you can do 60 in ur MSP.. Best part is no cops

yeh, i wanna hit western md and pa one time...i got family in chicago and i rmeebr the drives thru the appilachans (sp?) are pretty nice......i jus tlike the pretty much striaght open FAST roads of i95 thru sc and ga lol....i think i got the land speed record for a stock '95 saturn sc2 sedan with 150k on the odo.....it toped out at 110 and felt suprising solid...(first) (drive)

i hit 95 mph in my 95 wrangler there. I had a tail wind and it was slightly down hill!!!!!

lol yeh my gf was gettin mad cus i would mash the gas and start rockin back and forth yellin "its alive!!!! its alive!!!!" and then i would look at the speedo and tell her to jump out and help push it lol hahahaha after 30 sec or so i got to 110 from a 80 mph crusie......(drunk)

Any suggestions? I'm taking my '04 Mazda3s from WI to FL in a couple days. What should I make SURE to check before going down there or while driving? It's about a 1,250 mile trip. lol I know this thread is really old but I didnt feel like making a new one .

I would say your oil, tire pressure, and if you have enough music.
