Litte Electronic Help

Last night I went out to walk my dog and I walked past my car... Here, my radio and sat radio were playing... I hadn't driven my car in 3 hours... Little worried... Heres my setup, maybe anybody can help me figure it out here...

2003 Protege

Eclipse flipout monitor
1.0 farad cap
500w amp
1 12 in subwoofer.

everything is wired so that it is supposed to come on when the car is turned on.. My sirius radio is plugged into my cig. lighter. and that was on too. I don't know why its doing it... i don't wanna have to worry about my battery going dead... If you might know, pls help. If you have any questions, let me know...

what is the head unit?

did you use a wire harness to install the head unit or did you splice into it? if you spliced into it, make sure that you have the red power wire to a constant source of power and the yellow wire with a red stripe needs power except this is the one that needs the pwer to be turned off when the ignition is also turned off ie radio fuse. hope i helped

i used the proper harness. i didnt splice the wires, im pretty competent when it comes to car audio, but this has me confused... it wasn't just my radio, it was also my cigarette lighter and that is completely stock....
