The car is out of the stable, and has made it's first LONG-ASS Road trip EVAR!. I did it with the Haltech too, and got unbelievably good gas milage. In higher altitudes, it starts up just like it did down low. I only have had ONE starting issue as of yet, and that was in Albuquerque, NM after I visited 505 Zoom. I have started to notice that most of my starting issues now happen after the car has been driven, and has had about an hour to cool off (heat soak). Other than that, the car starts right up about 90% of the time.
One thing I have noticed is that when I was up at around 8,000 ft elevation last night up in the mountains, the car ran richer due to the thinner air. Other than that, I now fully see the value of turbos up at higher elevations now. I mean, without it, my car would have been soooo slugish. No wonder a s***-load of folks have them (Subaru WRX's) in Colorado!
