Lights On Warning Ding

Surely there has to be a way to turn this on... even cars built in the 60s and 70s had this.

I manually turn on my lights during the day (another bone to pick with Mazda...) and all previous cars have had warning indicators that lights were on - a dinging when the door opened. Not my 2014 CX-9 Touring. Is this an option I can turn on or off?

Have u looked in owners manual? Might be a setting somewhere. My 2010 GT has it

Are they on or Auto? Our '13 GT dings.

On the 2007 model they ding while either On or Auto. 2008 and one they removed the ding while on auto. Sounds like some sort of setting.
