light weight wheels

Going off what Andy posted earlier...Light and cheap don't go all that well together in that they are usually soft as s***...

forged wheels are expensive to make and buy, but much stronger despite being lighter than normal cheaper cast wheels...

If you guys are getting these light wheels for racing...still be careful...One "farm plow" and chances are you will bend a bigger lightweight cheap wheel...And just on the street one pot hole won't go over too well..

Racing Harts are expensive and are not all that light.

O.Z Superleggra are light, but expensive.

My friend James has a set of O.Z.'s he was in Pet for the longest but got posted to Kingston. He has split a rim on a mid pothole. He said if it was a regular rim like mine it would have survived.

Light is wicked for the track but perhaps not what you need for the real world.

When are you out of Dravar??

if i can scavenge up the money ill but some ssr comps.

but even at my deal with work i still have to fork out a lot of money..

but its a lot less than retail..

Konig Holes 17X7 are 16.1 pounds.
Stock rims are just over 16 pounds.

MazdaVK5, +40mm offset will not be a good fit. For sure you'll get some rub. You will need at least +45mm offset.

got ur offsets mixed.....+40 will push the wheel away from the suspension...makin it actually more room :) hence y ppl dont run around with 17x9 +60 or so wheels but 17x9 +30 offset.....im thinkin a set of 17x7.5 or 8 with a +35 offset would be flush with the fender flares of a p5/msp im thinkin 235 tires also :)

I didn't know OZ made 5-hole 15" Superleggaras. ...

I think the general rule in this case is:
Cheap, Light, Strong (pick 2)
