Yeah, I was prepared to drill holes and use the mounting plates for the G-Force bolts but lucked out. I just copy everything you do, Jon. But to a lesser degree of awesomeness, of course.

How heavy is the battery? Can't be much, right? You weren't moving it for weight bias purposes were you?

The silver car had it up front. I know you're taking 35+ lbs off the front, so there is benefit there.

Balls. I had my center console on a shelf with my exhaust and some suspension bits, came home from work and it was laying on the floor, must have fallen off the shelf somehow (angry squirrel perhaps?) and broke the section shown where I have my ECU mounted. All that trimming and mounting I did and I have to find a new console and start over again. Mr. Squirrel, I'll find you and I'm going to kill you. -Liam Neeson.

On the bright side, I installed the Forge V2 BPV on the MS6 in 5 mins. I wish all installs were that easy... I'm such a ricer, but it sounds good.

He's right plus the lovely rule book address covering the positive battery terminal and the positive terminal on the starter.

Got a little bit of work done today after helping my friend install his stereo in his Miata.

Anyway, here's a quick way to do the TB coolant bypass. Just use one of the hoses and trim it down and loop it.

Working on the intake mani's.

Non-VRIS and VRIS setups.

Test fitting the JayRacing.com thermal spacers. Just as nice as the Outlaw spacers but half the price. :)

SOOO much easier to work on wiring and the rear motor mount when the IM is out of the way.

iPod died so I called it a night.

I love those magnetic bolt holding thingies.

Can I ask which IM you're going to use? I can imagine the Non-VRIS one but would there be any benefit if you were to use the one with the butterflies?

Actually, looking at the pics, it looks like the one you prepped has the solenoids in it??

I'm going to try both intake manifolds. Since I've got a standalone ECU I can mess with the settings and see what I can come up with.

Corey, I just noticed that. Fail. I chamfered the edges of the heads to match the square intake runners and used the OEM gaskets as a guide. But these spacers look WAY too big. I'll have to get with JayRacing and see what they say.

Also going to work on my adjustable fuel pressure regulator and mount that up cleanly.

Yep. I think these were a first production run. I'll get with Nate at JayRacing (he's a very nice fellow) and will return them. That would be some HUGE turbulence in there. haha. That's what I get for multitasking and not paying attention. Good eyes!
