Hell ya...congrats on the car man!!! Looks really good from the photos, can't wait to see it in person. I LOL'd at the comic strip too...unfortunately on the internet it's VERY easy for words to come off the wrong way and piss people off.

Im pretty content with my post. Please give me a list of the people who have this highly negative image of Ohioans. Also, what about buying/selling stuff? I'm confused.

how bout everyone shuts the **** up, drop all this petty ******* bulls*** and leave this for Evan to keep us all updated on his build...

Car looks great Evan!

Sending you a pm shortly...

Yay, the car has been delivered!!! Congrats Evan, I know you're ready to get this thing going.

Already a busy day. I ordered some Moog rear endlinks from eBay for $24.47 shipped and picked up some Moog front endlinks from Autozone for theFord Escape (thanks again for heads up, Cres/HKPro5!) for $22. Beefy as hell endlinks for all four corners for less than $50. I went to order the front lower control arms one side wasn't available so I kinda bit the bullet and got some HardRace lower control arms from eBay. They are supposed to use rubber bushings but a higher durometer than OEM. But again, sticking with the higher durometer rubber setup for suspension. I just hope the GT Spec rear trailing arms show up soon. I'm already getting antsy to start modding.

Also, sent "slipkornvayne" a PM asking him about checking out the JDM engine supplier in Jersey Saturday. If everything checks out okay then I'll order the KLDE Monday. It will probably be about another month until the KL goes in. I still have some more parts to buy from CR3 Motorsports for it like the Stage3 ClutchMasters clutch.

But man, it feels great driving a modded car again. :)

this is gonna be badass. anyway you could pm me the part number for those front end links? i need me a new set would love to get some of those been reading up on those around here

Jake, we can swap brake rotors and calipers and they'll fit wonderfully! haha

Rico, if you have an Autozone near you it's part #18348. Double check the box to make sure they're the Moog ones and not some crappy brand. I just said they're for a 2003 Ford Escape 4wd (2wd has the same part number but the guys at my local Autozone aren't all the quick in the head. We put 2000 BMW 7 series front endlinks on my friends 2009 Speed3. His mind was blown. haha)

And just got off the phone with CorkSport for some polyurethane shifter bushings, bronze-oil shifter bushings, exhaust gaskets and a SS clutch line since I was a nice guy and gave my old SS clutch line to Wes when he bought my trans. ;)

Now I'm going to put my debit card a way for a couple days.

HAHAHA ya that guy was dumbfounded for sure....He made a few comments, but what he really meant to say was, "You have Mazdaspeed 3, ZOMG you're trying to put a BMW part on it!!! WTF how is that possible????"

Evan...put that damn card away! LOL

Haha! Nice! I mean, endlinks are pretty much universal as long as the orientation is correct.

I ordered Moog part number K80868 for the rear since these are supposed to be 7.5" long. A little bit shorter than stock to compensate for the coilovers. I just don't know how to tune suspension and the AWR endlinks wear out really quickly so I prefer to buy suspension parts that are set it and forget it. That reminds me, I need to clean up and paint my Progress rear sway bar.

Please explain what you mean by shorter than stock to compensate for the coilovers. The mounting tabs for the endlinks on the body of the coilover should be at the same height as the stock struts. That distance is static regardless of ride height.

I very well could be wrong, but I think since the coilovers shorten the distance of the hub assembly to the top of the fender the endlinks need to be shortened. I know my OEM rear endlinks were resting on a lateral bar (I believe it's called) in the back. That's where a ton of clunking was coming from. That and a loose sway bar bracket.

I'm going to test fit them first, of course, and share any info I find on them.

The KW I know for a fact are diff than OEM, thats why I had to get shorter ones.
