Those are pretty cheap from your local parts store. I wouldn't mess with used ones. Not worth the effort.

Not to take anything away from Evan's part-out effort. I'm ready to help him with whatever he needs to do. Just some parts are too easy to bother someone IMO.

I'll have to check that out but they i thought they would only have the strut not the pieces the strut attaches to

Yoo guyth are tho thilly...

No tube frames or 2JZ's in my P5. However, Josh and I worked out a deal and I'll be getting his P5. I'm so very excited![/B] I just need to pay it off ASAP. So no monies for mods for a couple months.

You just couldn't part from that motor, could ya....you had to buy the whole damn car to get it back! :p jk man and that's great....a win-win for both you and Josh.

One will come along....I just found 10 listed on Autotrader within 100 miles of me but rust would more than likely be an issue.

Just sold my broken trans for 100 so I got 50 sitting for ya next time I can give of to my fad so I can paypal.
So you got a good trans for $50. Score! :)

I'll get you those hatch struts, Nate. I kept forgetting.

LOL! You found me out, Jeff... drat.

Rust will be an issue on any car I find up here for sure. As long as it's not too bad, I can live with it. A more practical car that I don't have to worry about it leaving me stranded is more important right now than a clean one. lol

Oh, my bad. I thought it was $150. Then double score! Hahaha.

Josh, I hope we can find you a nice Mazda6. Like I said, if you need any help or want to do a road trip, just let me know. I owe you for picking up the Milly and a s*** load of other things.

I'm not sure if I could swing an out of state purchase or not? It wouldn't be an issue if I had the cash up front, but I'd probably take out a loan. I wouldn't know who to make the check out to though, even IF I had a particular car I was going to look at. And I'd still have to negotiate a final price IF the car is as it appears in the pics.

Right on. Well I'm in no rush. I mean, even if you keep the PFizzle, it's all gravy. I can always find another chassis. But the most important thing is that we get it running right for you, Steph and baby Santiago.

Give me a call when you're free tonight, mang.

If you had to take out a loan for an out of state car, let me know. I've had to do it before.

Well, looks like I might keep looking for a clean P5 shell. So everyone keep their eyes open for me, please! I don't need a running car (I don't need the motor anyway) just has to be clean and rust free. :)

He's looking into it for me. But I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, ya know? Yours is sooooo freaking clean. Damn it.

SC would be just as clean, tho.

I think the Mid-Atlantic is the perfect place to buy cars. Any further south, like FL, and you start getting into a bunch of paint and plastic defects from TOO much sun.

Yeah, me too. But the first gen MSP's are sexy. And they already have upgraded sway bars and brakes. And already boosted so you know kids will blow them up faster than P5's. Lulz.
