LED turn signal question

I know this thread is like 6 years old but it seems as if no one has found a solution as to whether or not our CX-9s are equipped with an electronic flasher that we can swap out for one to use with LEDs. There has to be someone on this forum that has found a solution WITHOUT the need for load resistors. I wish the OP would be able to chime in but it seems as if he hasnt been on this forum since 2008! I am trying to find a solution! Thanks.

Yes, I know the Tritons come with the controller box that prevents the hyper flashing but there is no space inside our housing to safely install it without it hitting wires and possibly burning them or melting the housing.

I'll just drop these right here in case anyone looks at this thread:

TL: DR
Hyper-flash does occur when signals are activated. Does not occur when hazards activated. VLED Triton control box has the ability to activate a load resistor if you use the included 5AMP fuse with the kit. Signal "relay click" noise is created by a speaker in the dash.

Direct comparison of VLED Triton V3 without load resistor and with load resistor (video's taken one day apart):http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/show...gnal-Install&p=6348433&viewfull=1#post6348433
