Hey everyone...I'm interested in swapping out the stock led/bulbs in the gauge cluster, air conditioning knobs, and head unit buttons & display...
When I installed the cassette deck into the radio assembly, I found that the buttons all seem to be led's on a board...My questions are:
1. Does anyone know for sure if we have led's or bulbs in our cars behind the gauge clusters, a/c knobs, and radio buttons???
2. How hard would it be to remove the gauge cluster from the dash to swap the lighting???
3. Has anyone done this already or attempted it yet???
My goal is to get rid of the green lighting everywhere and replace it with a nice blue light instead. I'd like the gauges to appear more like the stock Mazda 3 setup (dark purple-blue in color) and then have it as a theme throughout the rest of the car...
