Least favorite Mod?

my least fav mod right about now is my Sparkco spark plug wires. what a waste of money, and now that they let water in my car barely runs. I had to limp my way to work misfiring and sputtering all the way.

My least fav is injen intake, looks good but gains are minimal. and now that i have my MAF relocated it's kinda peiced together. (plus it makes your turkey louder which made me locate my MAF so i could Vent to Atmosphere.

DG front lip. Looks unbelievable, but its soo hard to keep it safe from rock chips, or falling off and getting shot up gloriously into the air only to have multiple cars run over it when it comes back down. Its still in one piece, but needs to be repainted.

lol...i'm so sorry but that just sucks and at the same time is a little funny but dont worry. i was once had a rim i put on myself come off because i did'nt tighten the lugs hard enough and destoryed the bottom of my car ..lol..the rim was fine though.

narrowband A/F gauge. $50 lightshow.
This is classic. The autometer A/F guage is exatly this. I don't regret getting though it's basically for show more than anything, but this statement is so true.

What spring do you have in the valve and how much boost are you running?
My guess is the idle spring needs to be changed...

I'm running stock boost (I will NEVER increase the boost on this car - besides what an upgraded SMIC will give me - because I don't want to join the Zoom-Zoom-Boom! club). If I recall, I'm pretty sure it had a green spring in it (could have been yellow), but I could open it up and check. I do know that Forge makes aftermarket spring kits, but I thought you could only replace one of the springs...

Jez, and here I thought by you asking me if I still had the valve that Forge was going to buy it back from me - we all have our dreams!

My choice on the mod i least liked..... The Greddy Type RS, I bought it, and the adjustment stem was stripped right out of the box and Greddy told me they won't replace it because they claimed it was "user misuse" $180 gone. ********** was awesome and tried to help me out, but they couldn't do anything either. Gonna get a HKS SSQV and hopefully not be disapointed.

LOL soo true, Anyone that enters my car has to ask what it is... now i just say the lights moves to the music

My least favorite is the shorty header and the gutted pre cat. Although it works great and you can really feel the difference. The engine noise is almost too loud. There are times I have to use earplugs, but thats also because of my stereo too.

oh yea 2" hardpipes w/greddy type rs is my worst..waste of money thank god i dont think i spent much on them. got them used.

Lol

got mine second hand from the guy who said it sucks donkey ..... all it need was some minor sanding an new double sided tape..

That's funny. I love mine.. got it second hand too. Fits good and looks great. Oh well

I know this is an older post, but I had the exact same thing happen to me...twice. Once during installation, and once it just fell/stripped out on it's own. What did they make that metal out of...solder??

blast from the past thread.....least fav mod is the apexi grounding kit i bought. over priced, does nothing but does look cool with the glowing logo on the box. and a close second would be the greddy coolant beather tank:(

Least favorite mod...hmm...would have to be that half ass job I did on my DX reinforcement to get the MSP front bumper cover to fit. Ken is there any way you could possibly get me the MSP bumper reinforcement, along with side and rear skirt? Oh, I think I need MSP front fender wells too, mine are tie wraped to the bumper cover lol.
