Is the new Sonic Silver Metallic any different from the current silver color? It seems that most silvers are just...silver.

Is the new Sonic Silver Metallic any different from the current silver color? It seems that most silvers are just...silver.

My silver looks more like a grey, so perhaps the new one really is silver this time.
The new nav has the time and phone data on the top right, some thing I still miss from my last 2009 xtrail which also had a 7" screen.

This unit should have been fitted from day one.
Also see a DAB radio is available, but I couldn't work out which model if any got the LED headlights.

I like it, but no power increase for the 175ps diesel, or extra gears for the auto, so I won't rush out to buy one.

Anyone know when the 2016 go on sale and hit the floor? Specifically the GT AWD.

I read through the entire post in the past (it's been awhile) but didn't pay much attention because I was interested in the 2015.

Never got around to purchasing and now that I'm looking again if the 2016's are coming soon, I just might wait until then. But how long?

The person at the LA show said that in the summer. Now, I don't know if we can trust that.
What I have noticed, that Mazda releases it's new models, around February-March.

We have never had a door lock button in the UK, which is strange.
Only way to lock the doors is to push the door latch mechanism on the door.

Interesting. Looks like there also is I-ELOOP for SKYACTIV-G?
The depicted car has no door-lock buttons. I hope they will add them.

I believe Mazda's fiscal year ends March 31. So - April 1 begins their 2016 year. Just a guess, but I would expect 2016 models to start appearing shortly thereafter.

The GM at my Mazda store told me the 2015s came in March 2014 and the 2016s will be available in March 2015.

They still had some 2014s when I got my 2015 CX in July.

Though I think approximately 3 months to wait is too long a wait (if that is even the release date). I may just go with the 2015.

Sounds about right. We got ours on 16 April and they'd been out for a while.
