Lateral Link Differences?

I posted this in the Sedan forum too in hopes of getting some good response.

Anyone know what the differences are in the lateral links between disc and drum cars? Mazda lists two different part numbers.

Drum brake: B30K-28-620A
Disc brake: B30P-28-620A

The only difference is the "K" and the "P" so does anyone know what the real difference is?

Knot sure about a drum/disc differnece. I do know that the long bolt through the lateral links, just below the hub and through the hub carrier, goes one way for discs (pointing forward) and the other way for drums due to a clearance issue. Also the MP3/MSP has beefier lateral links too.

Great, thanks for the information. Do you (or anyone else) know if it's a simple matter of putting the bolt in the other way? Or if there's any other differences?
