700M Laptop
Pentium 745 Processor
1 GB SDRAM 2 Dimm
60 GB Hard Drive
Sprint PCS Connection Card

I have a couple of questions though, what is the difference in processors, which would be better to get the 745 or 755
same thing with the ram and hard drive
i saw that there was a 1 GB SDRAM 1 Dimm, what is the difference in the 1 Dimm and the 2 Dimm.
Also I think that the 60GB hard drive would be good enough, dont you?
Also i want something that is wireless, where i can access the internet from anywhere without worrying about pluging in somewhere, is that where the Sprint PCS Connection Card come into play? (I want sprint b/c i already have a cell phone from them and the service been pretty good)

do a google search talknotebook or notebookforum.com i forgot which one. Anyways way more reviews and pictures and opinions of different laptops. I also work at best buy and doesn't matter which laptop you get make sure you have some protection plan from any company IMO.

As for the DIMMS. Well to get a gig its either 2x512 megs sticks(2Dimms) or 1x1024MB stick (1 dimm also more expensive) i believe almost 90 percent of laptops have 2 dimms only. Just make sure you can find a laptop w/ atleast a 5400 RPM hard drive and 1.6 centrino min. and 512 really with 1 Dimm.

couple of models to take into consideration

HP
zt3000
dv1040

Sony
S-Series

Toshiba
M35X- Series

Acer
