This is research smart guy. If i had bought it then asked you all what you think then you could say your smart ass comments. I have never seen them on any ones car so im RESEARCHING!TheMAN said:the information has been shared... GO SEARCH
Ya, i basically figured that. Like the sway bars and things like that. So i guess it serves no other purpose other then that? Do they actually help?? You know anyone who has used it??jbspeed6 said:I think he is just asking for any reviews from members who have it on their car. He IS researching...
As for your last question, AWDRACER, any kind of brace is meant to stiffen up the chassis of the car by tying key elements of the frame together using stiffer components.
I do but have not heard any convincing evidence to warrant the money these things cost. Just buy a set of sway bars, you will feel a MUCH bigger difference.AWDRACER6 said:Ya, i basically figured that. Like the sway bars and things like that. Thats what i was thinkin. It seems that this is almost the same as a sway bar. Not really the same but same concept.... Its probably for looks more then anythingjbspeed6 said:I do but have not heard any convincing evidence to warrant the money these things cost. Ya thats the one i was looking at. Was it hard to install??RevLimitLaunch said:i have the gt spec 6 point ladder brace and rear lateral bar links. i'm not completely sure if it's just mind sake, but it seems like there's a difference a bit. after the lateral bars launching actually feels slightly better as well. i'm going to do all the structure bars made for the car from auto exe and gt spec so i'm sure when combined the car will be structurally more inclined to stiffen up.
Haha! Thats tight though... I think i might get one eventually. I will probably get the sway bars firstRevLimitLaunch said:not at all. 3 bolts on each side. you'll need a 17mm and 19mm 1/2" with a breaker bar and then for convenience the same in a 3/8" ratchet for ease. and you'll need to use a jack. you'll see why after getting one side of bolts undone the holes go out of alignment. a rack starts drooping down. so with the jack holding it up everything lines up perfect. all in all takes about 25-30 minutes with no problems and breaks in between (after awhile, the gravel digging into my skull doesn't feel too hot). lol.
s*** ill have to give my wife a hint... lol.RevLimitLaunch said:yeah sway bars i'm sure would be a lot better of a difference, but so far the lateral bars and ladder brace have been presents from my girlfriend so i can't complain lol. whiteline sway bar is up next.
