what's up
i killed my MSP today :(

but the MP3 is getting a new transplant...can you guess?

both cars will be running.

I'm guessing you blew the motor on the MSP. The MP3 is getting the turbo stuff and your going to build the MSP with a bigger turbo?!?

C'mon Alejo, provide the details. How'd you kill it and what improvements are you going to make on the rebuild?

hahaha
no, i did not blow the turbo.
the scenario is as follows:
bought MP3 with built engine
removed turbo from MSP and left N/A
swapped turbo into MP3
MSP runs now, obviously without turbo with a 3" exhaust, for now (sound like a ricer civic, funny as s***)
will continue to swap more parts to the MP3 (ECU, SS AFC, Exhaust)
when done, i should be boosting 14PSI in the MP3 and 0PSI on the MSP

As much as I love my MP3, I hate to see another MSP get converted to NA :(

But they're your cars so you're free to do as you please with them. By the way, you're gonna throw a code for lacking VTCS when you put the MSP ECU into the MP3. The MP3 wiring harness doesn't even have the wiring for the VTCS solenoid, so you're gonna need a pin to plug into the ECU plug and hook up to a VTCS solenoid. Hit me up if you need one (or more) I have about 20 left and I'm pretty much giving them out for free.

sounds like an ass backwards way to do it to me... but whatever gets the job done I guess.

you would rather pull a whole engine, then just pull the turbo setup?
idk about you, but i can pull a turbo assembly off in 30 minutes, compared to pulling a motor out which takes hours

i never had VTCS on the MSP either and never threw a cell, so FIXED.

One Question and one Reply.

Why?
And
WTF?
because i can....besides...the MP3 has a built engine, it is in better shape, better suspension......over all, much better than the MSP

this will be answered in...3,2,1.
thats alot more work lol
thnks! you right about that, we thought about doing it and it would've taken much longer.

Why turbo the MP3 and N/A the MSP? Swap the entire engine into the MSP and be done with it.
see above
What are you going to do to the MSP? put it back to stock?
i will put it back to stock eventually,
i have a FMIC, so it will just be a matter of gathering the rest of the pieces. i will boot low (6PSI).
would love to take it back to completely stock, including a SMIC and all...we'll see.

thank you.

that's different a na msp and a turbo mp3. I would just flop the motors, but I know its easier to switch the other stuff
