Geez...funny how you guys argue and get all ******* preachy about seatbelt use.

My concern is not the sealbelt minder but rather, the dinger when I have the key in the ignition and turned to accessory position to listen to the radio with the door open.

And regardless WHY I want it off, I just want to know if anybody knows where the actual sound-maker is.

to answer your q... open door, listen for ding, introduce hammer!

and the on position turns on a lot more than just the acc position, like hvac control.
