This Dealer installed option is for Canada, It's not available In USA. Also I know some one who has a 150hp 1.6l turbo Rio (not factory), may not sound like much but with a weight of 2100 lbs it is probably quick, He didn't put all that crap on the body. His rio almost looks factory, makes a great sleeper.
I by the way drive a 2001 Sephia.
And the reputaion that Kia has for being Junk is exagerated
I bought this car new it now has 69000 hard miles I have run this car to death and still no problems.

Ya with the amount of money he put into that car to make it look that bad, he should of just bought a srt-4 and left it stock. It would of been faster and gotten him a lot more respect. Also he would of had a warrenty.. you know by turboing that car, he voided the only thing good about a kia.www.ky-kia.com said:

You have a point about the srt-4 being faster. The srt-4 does better on the 1/4 than a Cobra. I saw on a Beechbend raceway last year completely stock except for slicks. 13.05 @105.6 mph The cobra were in the upper 13s in the 90s mph. As far as respect most people except for compact car enthusiast, don't know the diff from a srt-4 and a sxt. to most musclecar guys they are both just a neon. Untill they race one (suckers).
As far as the Kia being for a kia in school who can't afford more. I'm 32 years old I own a Kia. In fact its the Sephia in the pictures above. The only stock factory US Spec Proteges that can beat my car is the Mazda Speed and that mazda is nice.
I love mazdas and Kias (except the Rio) You really can't make them look nice without the rice. LOL

STi K-mart version. Heh.my friend got one..apparently she loves it. It comes w/ decals from the factory too and some fade tint. Told her not to go for those. Also came w/ summer and winter wheels which is kinda convenient. Having it look like an STi is just coincidence....my ass! Everybody knows what an STi looks like...jeez.
