I have had one mazda engine that said ford on it and I have another mazda engine that says ford on it.

i know it was reborn... but i was saying i didnt want it to be reborn into the 3.... there are major differences between the two... but i recently found out that the 3rd gen Protege was reborn.. into a ford... called the lynx.... heres a site showing the new Ford Lynx

Ford doesnt own Mazda ... look heres an example.. look at the Mazda Tribute and the Ford Escape... two similar vehicles..sharing engines and parts... the two companies do this to save money.... if ford owned mazda all the engines would say Ford...

That definitly not a ford, That is definitly a Mazda with ford badges. Thats still a nice looking car. They don't sell that here in USA. Looks like the protege engine 2.0.
