I went to Ron Tonkin Mazda in Portland, OR to get my key battery changed. They removed the key part but then couldn't open the body to replace the battery. The service manager said "has this been glued shut"? I said "are you kidding, of course not, never have touched it". He said "we can't change it". So I went home and got a screwdriver like the owners manual shows, put it in the slot and turned it, and IT POPPED OPEN! I then changed the battery and put it back together.
