Ken Block Monster-esque P5

It needs a drop and a better Fitment to make it sick looking. But some of the color I would change but I love Monster Energy Drinks, so +1 in my books! lol

Not trying to revive an old thread but this is what the little "wannabe Ken Block" P5 looks like today. I unhooked those cheap a$$ LED's(they lasted roughly a month) and put a set of Mazda Speed springs on the front, but it didnt really do much for the stance. I drive this daily so I dont really wanna lose what ride I have left in the suspension. Adding the scoop on the hood gave it a more aggressive look I think(its actually made for a full-size Dodge Ram). Over the past few years I have gotten alot of compliments on it and people snap pictures of it on the interstate, actually had one P5 owner pull me over so he could check it out. None of this is paint including the white, so when the time comes to sell it or trade it in, I can pull all of the decals off. I didnt get much of a friendly response from this website so I didnt hang out for long after that. I just happened to be browsing Google images for "Ken Block wannabe's" since Gymkhana 5 is coming out and this thread showed up.

Cheers all

Thanks.....thats actually the factory blue mica paint showing thru. I just cut it out after I had put the white vinyl on it to make it resemble the STi bumper.

Any chance of you posting up some bigger pictures? I'd love to see more detail.

Sure thing.

I do work in the IT field building computers and I promote and use all of the companies I have listed on my P5, they treat me right on bulk purchases :D. Nothing is done to my motor with the exception of a CAI. I just turned 110k on the odometer and its averaging 28 mpg...gas prices are holding me back from doing anything else to it since I commute 40 miles a day. I understand that this kinda thing isnt for everyone but its just not something you see everyday, my girlfriend and her dad have asked me if I ever plan on having a "normal" vehicle and I tell them..."thats just not me". As long as its done right and tasteful, I dont discourage anyone from wanting to express themselves by making their personal ride "stand out". I have seen a lot worse on the roads and at car shows.

Oh and before someone asks, that is a light in the hood scoop..childhood fantasy since the Knight Rider days.

No plans on molding the hood scoop into the hood. As it is now everything done to the car(including the hood scoop) is easily reversible to stock in a matter of hours. Although I wonder if its possible to make a mold of the hood as it is and have one custom made all one piece...nah..wishful thinking.

Easy way to get around that is just get a 2nd hood and mold it and store the stocker away.

I like it. I'm all for out of the box. I love all the "tech comapany" logos. The overall execution looks very well done. I just wish it was lower, but that's just me wishing every car was an inch off the ground...

Nice ride! Haters gonna hate, but if you like it then who cares.

Thanks guys. I really would like to lower the front some more but I am primarily concerned about the ride. I would like it to be a little more raked towards the front..which is what I was hoping for with the MSP springs but that didnt turn out so well. I think the back sits low enough for my tastes. Right now though the brakes need a serious overhaul and I have been reading about the Mazda 6 brake conversion. I have been contemplating buying a new car but the girlfriend wants a ring and I really dont want to part with my P5 just yet..she's made me a proud owner for 9 years. Think Im gonna just save the money and mod it to my liking...that MX6(or whatever that motor is) engine swap might be in my future plans.
