K2 HID Lights

I not saying that your kit isn't real. what i am saying is that the Hanbi's are a better kit. My friend has the K2s and he sweats my lights cuz my are brighter and look better then his. But the down side is that my HID kit needs to be hard wired in. cost me about $100 to get them installed. The K2 are still a good kit. any what those are my thoughts later.

If this doesn't impress your guys, then I don't know what will!?

i have been lookin to go hid on my car.. but i can never find the correct bulbs.. i would appreciate any help i can get on finding a kit.. and if anyone knows how to install them any info would be appreciated. thanks

The MP5 uses H7 for low beam, the 9005 series for Hi beam, and H3 for the fog. My K2 HID kit is self explanatory. it was my first time installing any kit. I didn't think it was that hard. Just connect the appropriate together and cafefully mount your ballest (I located mine right under neath the headlight unit), change the fuse and you're all set to go. :)

Looks swEEt ... indeed! ... do u have the item # from ebay? so that we can see exactly what it wuz that you had bid on? I really like ur setup!!!

Hi guys...I have some questions about the K2 HID kit .... (Or maybe it's a more general question...) If I install the K2 HID Kit, or some other HID kit, does it mean that all the like in my car (I mean the head light, the fog light and the highbeam light in my MP5?), Or is the HID just for the headlight?

...and if I burn those light bulb, do I need to replace the entire kit or just the bulbs? Are these bulbs expensive and hard to find?

...then...What about the aimming thing...So..is it like I need to "aim" all the lights or just the fog lights? So..it's not like those orginal light bulbs that we are just plug in the light bulb into the place....

saided18 said that Hanabi is much better and cheaper, but it's also "not for no-brainer", right? First...Would you please tell me where did you find your cheap Hanabi HID, saided18? Secondly, I don't know which one I should go for..the K2 one or the Hanabi one ....if the Hanabi is that hard to install, I will need to take them to Car Stereo Plus to let them install for me...and they charge 50 an hour...I don't know what the total will be......If I go for the K2 one which, if I interpet that correctly, I can do it by myself easily just like change the headlight, and I don' t need to pay for the installation, but the downsife is that it's not as good as the Hanabi one (or some other brand)...so...Can anyone help me out? How should I decide what I'm going to get..?

Sorry about all those questions....Cause All these things are so new to me.....Thanks for your help!!!

Does anybody know what material the face of the headlamps are made of? If it's acrylic, the HID lamps will accelerate the yellowing of the lense. HID lamps emit much more UV radiaton (altho safe to people) than standard incandescent/halogen lamps.

I agree. I try avoiding stop at night. Even when I aim it down just enough for me to see that still blind the other incoming cars. but so far I havn't go pull over yet.....oh, can anyone recommend me some Hi beam and the flog lights blub? kinda stupid not to have them change as well to go with my HID. i hate the yellow-ish lights

thank in advance!
