But are they compression adjust or rebound? It just says "damping" which usually refers to compression. There really is no point in buying a strut that does not have rebound adjustment.

This is required for track use, but I don't think it would be too important for the street.

There is no reboud adjustment, just compression. Wouldn't it be ludicrous if it was that adjustable? I mean for the price look at what adjustability you get already...

well, being part of the probe board I can tell you that they have had a hugh problem with the US dealer. Some of the kits have made it to the people in the frist BB from what I have understood. I dont think anyone got anything on the second BB. The US suppier is now filing for bankruptcy. So who knows if Ksport will find another US importer or what. But I would suggest that no one go through any shop that doesnt have them in stock aready because no one will be able to import them until some kind of change is made. Want some more info:

Trix Motorsports bought the rights to be the importer of K-sport. They are the only company in the US that imports K-sports and they are the ones that sell to other shops. Basically Trix is/was K-sport, USA and that means that K-sport, USA is going out of business.

Rebound adjustment is what you want in a single adjustable strut. There is absolutely no reason to adjust your compression on the street. This will only aid in high speed bumps and stuff, where adjustable rebound will actually have a significant effect on handling, turn in and high speed stability.

I was looking over the car tonight to get ready to install these. Heres a question, see if any of you guys can help me out.

And...

Donno what you call it... but its not there. The arm that connects the roll bar to the strut. Theres no mount on the coilovers. There are 4 pieces of metal that were included that I'm not too sure what its for.

the 4 pieces of metal you have circled are what you use to adjust the height.

No, if your talking about the hooks to adjust spring and perch hight, I have those too.

the one you circled is connect to end inks.
maybe k sport does not support connection to endlinks

The brackets you circles are the mounting tabs for the brakelines. The tab that is welded on the strut tube is for the endlink, but it will need to be shortened by the looks of it since it is welded lower on the housing relative to the spindle bolts.

Thanks for the clarification Britt, I thought it was as simple as it sounds but I just wanted to make sure.

Since Trix is filing for bankruptcy, I guess it wouldn't be a good idea to get these since there would be no one to warranty them or pick up a new one if one of the struts takes a crap one day. Plus, I'm not sure what the solution is to the endlink mounting location since it seems to be too low on the strut body compared to the stock struts.

Does the TEIN SS system have rebound adjustability? I guess I'll just have to save up a little more coin.

teins adjust the rebound and compression together. As the rebound goes up, the compression goes down. These are good street struts, but for the hardcore autoxer or track *****, individual adjustment is better.

I'm just a street guy myself. I don't auto-X or street race at all. Just enjoy a nice responsive feel when driving.

The TEIN SS's are definitely overkill for me, but I don't think I'm going to gamble on the K-sport especially if there is no US representation.

I just talked to two retailers, and they both said that they are a combo adjust like the Tein. So these would be a great street strut, maybe a limited autocross strut.

So what about the Tokico Illuminas? I'm assuming these are only compression adjustable?
