OK, guys. Here is his new car.

Titanium Grey Pinto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jersey - I'd really suggest getting some headlights before taking her out at night. ;)

Enough guessing...it's a Titanium Mazdaspeed Miata. Not only did I stay with Mazda, I stayed with Mazdaspeed :)

Pics will be posted when I actually pick up the car...I have a lot of crap I need to do for the MSP being totalled.

10 miles on the odometer, $21000 out the door :) Same price I paid for the MSP, and insurance is incredibly a tiny bit cheaper ($40 a year)

thats awsome but i dont get how the insurance is cheaper on a two door sportscar as opposed to a fourdoor sedan.

I'm thinking because of the fact that (surprisingly) the Miata did much better than the Protege in crash tests. I know, my brain hurts thinking about how that is possible

I don't think I could buy a car that small, but otherwise, I think it's probably a pretty good choice (although I am not a fan of the tiny little intercooler they have, it just looks so weird to me).

What made you choose that over other cars?

I drove every car Mazda makes (as well as several other different brands). The driving experience of the MSM stood head and shoulders beyond everything else I was able to afford.

The size doesn't bother me, I have an older car to drive (a '96 Chrysler Cirrus) if I need to carry stuff around or take more than 1 person with me.

Oh, and intercooler is going to be swapped out :P Going to be the third mod (1st is rollbar, 2nd is downpipe)

That just goes to show you how flawed those crash tests are.
