Yea, the cast iron coated is just kinda...meh, but the downpipe looks pretty hot. I want to have a tubular manifold made eventually.
The log style works for now, im just not a fan of how it looks.

And any opinions on what color I should coat the compressor housing?

Well the log Mani not looking the way you want....but its not the coating ....

Yea lol I know, the coating looks awesome, but the actual manifold just looks bad.

Yeah but luckily most of the imperfections are on the bottom of thr log. From what I could tell

other valvetrain hardware should have shipped out friday so ill give it 2 weeks to get here, then I can actually start putting stuff together

dude..i just talked to you last night lol theres no updates, still waiting on parts. But at least now I have a dead line....maybe that will make me move a little faster when I get the parts. Car has to be done by Aug 20th or else I will not have a car to drive around anymore.
I think thats pretty reasonable. Parts should be here by weds, then taking it to the machine shop and letting them do there thing.

Also will be ordering:
*AWR Race Pan
*OEM Intake Mani Gasket

think thats all I need to get the car running again...hopefully the gas isnt all gummed up in the tank

lol i may have to...last time i drove it im pretty sure there was barely any gas in there...maybe some fresh gas would keep it from gumming up for at least 2 more weeks.

Also some updates: Got 4 free tires from work. 90% tread kuhmo 195/55R16. Pulled them off a mini cooper because we cant sell cars with tires that we dont sell, if that makes sense. So im gonna throw them on my stock wheels and ride on those for a while. Maybe even raise the car up enough to do an alignment lol

test fit....yea i almost jizzed my pants when i took a step back to take a look

but when i was taking the lugs off, i barely tapped the paint with the lug wrench...and it chipped lol ******* spray paint.
Im getting them PC'ed now that i actually like the way they look, should be worth the money

Are they white? Now just repeat the car and have the wheels white.....I think I'd like it.....and you know as well as I do how much I hate those wheels....good work Simon.

the best palce to get free tires is behind dealerships. they have used tires they take off and some are good, just go ask them if you can take them, and they are almost always more than happy to let you. recently i got some 225 50 r 16s for my track tires. yokahama s drives

Are those the Corvette wheels? I thought you got rid of those? What kind of tires are you going to run? I really dig white wheels lately.

How many coats of spray paint did you use and did use clear them? I want to get all my wheels PC'ed too but the only place I know of is $140 per wheel. I used to work in a PC shop and we did all four for $100.
