Every time that muther enters he wins, like I know his s*** is clean but a MS RX-8 is hardly something new..just seems like a lot of people are more on his jock than appreciating the car...(shrug)

Honestly, i think hes car is boring :/

yea i appreciate the work and how clean it is, it just doesnt do it for me
idk too plain, im switchin s*** up on my car, im gonna sell my rims, roll on the stockers for a while until i get the new ones, already have them planned out
people will hate, call me a VW wannabe but who cares, im tired of these mazda fads lol

L8R(Chris) did a wire tuck for show reasons only. its clean a look but if something not working your FUCT! But its all up to you and if you do it yourself that better.

yea i saw his how-to when i searched it, did he do an actual like complete wire tuck or just what he did in the how-to?

cuz i want to do as complete of a wire tuck as i can, i think it looks awesome...but yea your right about if things dont work then your pretty much screwed lol

yea...i was just gonna PM antoine the pic, not sure if i can do that

not like i was gonna win anyways lol altspace already has a s*** ton of the votes

you guys can still vote, its not like he is the only choice lol

yea lol for real, but just got back from import alliance, like 10 minutes ago and i got a quick question for you guys
car has a missfire ONLY in cylinder 3, just replaced the MAF, wires, plugs, coils, coolant temp, crank postion sensor, cam position sensor and i think thats it
only time it misses is when im cruising , im thinking it could be a clogged injector, either that or a bad 02, but that doesnt make sense as to why only cylinder 3 is missing

also..wondering if it could be a bad headgasket? not really sure why im thinking this but my coolant has been getting low and i dont have any clue how

wtf are you ricers sniffing? rusted hood... (hand)

if you think my car is rice now, your really going to hate what i have planned for it (rlaugh)

anywho, i beleive i fixed my problem, i took a look at my injectors, inj. 3 was loose as hell, i had a problem with this one at the very beginning, i had to replace the O ring cuz it was ripped so i did that with a o ring set from advanced
i guess the o rings from advanced are a hair thinner then the stock ones, what i did was take a universal o ring and used it to space out the inj o ring that seats to the manifold.
Made it alot more snug, so im hoping that will do it, if not then ill have to use a thicker o ring to space it out

im going to reset the ECU now and see if the code comes back

well so much for that, car still runs like ass, misses like crazy when i take off from a light and misses like crazy while cruising
no idea what it is but im tired of ****** around with this car

im gonna park it this weekend and drive my cousins car around

im starting to think its something internal, ive done everything, checked everything, replaced everything on the outside of the engine, so thats the only thing left

k if you guys following the thread didnt already see, i fixed the problem by replacing the intake manifold gasket, car runs good now, still need to block off the EGR completely cuz the AFR's fluxuate really bad when the ECU does a EGR test

also, kinda want to ask this, has anyone who is turbo used there intake air temp sensor? the one that plugs into a grommet in the intake
cuz i heard from one of the members that it really makes a difference when it reads the correct air temp.
but we were both worried about the sensor leaking boost and possibly blowing out under boost, any info?

You realize that you don't build boost on your intake side right??? I cut a diamond hole in a reallly ghetto way and stuck the rubber gromet in there with the sensor. It leaks quite a bit and has never popped out.

yea i realize that, but my MAF is relocated,
thats why the IAT is there, to read the temp right before the MAF so it can calculate the accurate amount of fuel to use

if i was to put it in the intake, it wouldnt read right....plus i dont even have an intake lol

It' supposed to go into the coldpipe right? So that the sensor reads the temp of the air the TB is getting? It's not supposed to be in the intake to the turbo inlet right? I wanted to put mine in, but I didn't want to get metal shavings into the coldpipe, and I was to lazy to disassemble the piping. What's the logic behind that sensor making a difference...?

yea its supposed to go right before the MAF in the cold pipe, the MAF was designed to work with a IAT so that it could calculate how hot the air was and then use the reading the MAF gets to provide an accurate amount of fuel

without the IAT in it feels like my car is super slow when its really hot out and ive been sitting it traffic for a while

but the problem is...it wasnt designed to be in a pressurized pipe, i dont want it blowing out

hmmm I never knew all this. My fault. I'm interested to see whether that actually does anything. I feel like it would blow out and cause a huge boost leak...

i always wondered about the iat too. but i just left it ziptied under the battery and never had a problem
