its called gearing, we are geared much steeper than the SRT and 350z's are quite heavy

Shyt, I'm beginning to think my car is gonna be unstoppable once I get a few mods on it. What is it with some of these people, is the influence from your peers that important. Of all the race post that I have read, I can only recall a few that said they lost to another car. Is this car that much of a beast when bolt on's are added. I think not..

Guys in other cars = not good drivers.
This happens all the time guys. I used to take GT Stangs in my stock prelude the same way. Some people just aren't used to their cars.
he's getting 14.6 at 8.5 psi. That is believable since a good driver in a stock speed should be hitting 14.9.
stock srt4 is what, 14.1? so add in a bad driver, half a second or more....msp wins.

Yes it is not good to street race and dangerous but it's also gets the blood pumping 100 times more than at the track. About a year ago I was racing on a 4 lane highway in my prelude (against who and who won is not important to the point) and i was in the far left lane as I look out my right window to see the guy next to me I see him slam on his brakes and I look back to see what he was doing, then I look back foward and see a pair of legs jumping out of the way of my car. Apparently someone just as crazy as me for street racing decieded to cross a 4 lane highway that's known for street racing and I almost hit him with my car going about 80. Yes it would have killed him might have hurt some of my friends in my car and my life would have been ruined. To this day I go there still but dont go over the speed limit and dont race just watch. I like to play with cars sometime but the rest since then I've saved for the track. Just thought I'd share my story of how I had to learn. If anyone believes that I should get flamed for this go ahead I know I deserve it, but I would see no point since I've actually learned. Losing the trust of my friends that night and having them yell at me really affected me.

How many people would post their losses anyway. You won't say anything about the 5 SRT's you lost to but when you beat one you'd post it. Just be happy the they won in their MSP.
gotta disagree there. You still have to know when to shift, and how to quickly. take our cars for ie. The 1-2 shift can be very picky ( although since the flash mine is a lot easier) and if done wrong, you'll lose the turbo, and spend all 2nd gear trying to speed up again. 2-3rd isn't so bad but still, people can screw up.
Anything with Vtec: You have to know when to shift, so the next gear is also in vtec land.
yes it's easier from a roll, but there are still some tricks to it.

I think it good that Mazda MSP owners Battle on the street. The whole Sport Compact section of the auto market is for this reason. Why else tune a grocery getter with a turbo and mica paint?

oh, and I'm not trying to flame you. I believe that you can certainly hang with any of those cars till midway through 3rd gear. the MSP have the gearing for it.

The thing that cracks me up is with all these "mature" people posting about how stupid everyone is about streetracing. I agree it isnt smart, especially if you are very wreckless. But if I tend to race with people when they pull up to me at a light and rev, then that is my problem to deal with. Before you start calling everyone stupid and trying to give the opinion that nobody really give a s*** about because you think its wrong, think about all the wrong things you do in your life and how I dont say s*** to you about it. If you get pissed and show your ass when you see people doing something you dont like, then you are no better, look in the mirror and deal with your problems and let me deal with mine. There are a wide range of people on this board and it is the USA so you have the right to shut the **** up and ignore it if you dont like the post, and leave it for the people who might want to read it. have a nice damn day!
