Just installed speakers, door lock not working

Hi,

I've just installed two front door speakers (my first time!) and notice my front passenger side door lock is not working. I mean it is working fine when I manually pull/push it, but when i use keyless entry or the lock/unlock door button on front driver side, it won't go up or go down. speakers works fine (hooray!) and other doors are fine. What might be the problem and how to fix it? Please bear with me, i'm a newbie and seriously i don't know much about cars.

pull the panel back off and make sure you hooked everything back up right.

Double check to see if the lock/unlock switch was plugged in all the way when the door panel was put back on. That will cause it not to work.

i did, i took it off 4 times, to make sure it fit right...still no luck

when i take the panel off and try on the keyless remote, the door lock still won't move.

two things dropped out when i removed the panel the first time...are they the cause? I don't know how to put them back...

No, they have nothing to do with the doors lock not working.

The door lock switch still needs to be plugged up even if you have the door panel off and you are trying it, otherwise it will think there is an open circuit and it will not work.

Ok, so should i do this?

Push the door lock down in to lock position, remove door panel, pull up door lock into unlock position, then install back door panel?

Sorry I'm confuse....(scratch)
