Just got back from a test drive again...

I love the freaking car, i cant get enough if it. But, sadly I don't know if I will be buying one. They are only willing to give me 7-9k for my WRX on a trade in and I owe 14.7K!!!!!! They said 02 WRX's with 69k go for 5-9k on trade in.

As much as I love the car I'm not sure I want to get into another HUGE loan that will put me in the same situation I am in now. So I think I need to buckle down and get my car paid down before I make the new purchase.

I just wanted to say I envy you guys and maybe I will be ready to get an MS3 when they come out with white.

Sigh...One day i will be in a MS3. I'm still gonna hang around though.(dance)

I could get 10k private party...but I would have to then pay the remainder of the loan to my bank. Where if I trade it in I can roll the remainder into the new loan.

Be happy with what ya got. WRX is a nice car, period. It's more important to be fiscally smart than to be cool.

Idea: I noticed you have a lot of mods, why not restore the car to near-stock, sell the aftermarket parts separately, and sell the car to someone then?

I figure you can easily get what they are saying they'd buy your car for STOCK, and then you'll have all sorts of aftermarket goodies to sell for cash.

I see nice wheels, exhaust, trunk, etc. All of that is valuable to the right buyer. Then the car can go to a person who appreciates making their own mods.

This is what I am doing with my 3G eclipse. made over $3K in selling my mods. I mean I still lost my As* since I have 4 times as much into it. but I would have never got that out right.
