Just got an used 07 speed 6....help guys~!

Hey guys, I am back to the Mazda brand once again. Just got a black 07 speed 6, the car came with 18" winter tires on stock rims. I spend almost all my money on the car, so gotta cut back on spending now. Just wonder can I run 17" rims on the car, then I can get cheaper rims and summer tires for now. Then eventually I will use the 17" for my winter set and buy some 18" summer tires later down the road. so problem is: will the 17" rub against the brake disc or caliper? Is there a certain offset that I have to buy? THANKS

I believe yes they will fit depending on offset and width..

17" will fit....however to prevent rubbing at the rear, get atleast a 50-55 mm offset (hard to find), or get the fenders rolled. Some used Mazda 3 or 6 17" rims would do the trick.

I ran 17 in winter wheels/ tires on my speed6 with no issues. They were bought from tire rack. Check with them for offset info.
