yea man you were right!!! Dude this whole time my major jerking and bogging issue was caused by me having my vaccum block T-ed to the wrong side of the check valve. I was happy as a pig in s*** once I took it for a ride and it didnt jerk and cut out. Im still happy I have the ss afc though because there still are some issues such as it seems to only really pull at lower rpm range and more or less seems to dam slow. And theres a slight hesitation as well so Im hoping the ss afc can at least get it running right. I think its just really rich right now. BIG thanks to everyone who helped me along the way...Kraziefox, mp3-79bronco, Zuku and a couple others. Still some tweaking to do

mines pissing me off though i went and modded the map like 4 times yesterday but i tried like 10 mins later and now it wont connect it says error #8018 or something like that

Try reinstalling the serial cable driver?

Did you plug the cable in before installing the driver? If so, that will screw it up because I did the same thing and had to uninstall the driver, and reinstall it THEN plug the cable back in after restarting the computer.

Wish I knew, but if that doesn't work your cable may be toast. I would check the manufacturer website.

And I'm still fairly certain the issue is fuel cut and will be fixed once the AFC is installed. However, I probably wouldn't dare mess with the maps too much without a wideband..

congrats on having your car running... x2 on the SS being worth the money, and mine is driving me nuts too. The car runs perfect as long as my CEL is on. The SS is causing a P0171 For some ******* reason

is that the lean in bank one code? if so make sure you have NO exhaust leaks...thats how i finally got mine to go away

just to finalize I did finally get my car running pretty good. I hit a few brick walls with couplers popping off again and a slight vac problem from the fuel rugulator but all in all I guess its safe to say its done. The ss afc was worth it for sure. I didnt drive it much but I didnt notice any hesitation and for the most part the idle is smooth. I went ahead and seafoamed my car right before a royal purple oil change too. All in all seems pretty good. Still need a wideband so I can tune. But for now it seems to be running pretty healthy. Just notice the boost spikes sometimes....boost gauge reads like 6 or 7 sometimes, I was under the impression we only made around 4 psi stock? And I hope to get more power soon. I'd be happy with 230hp or so. So far Im on stock boost with a fmic, 2.5" cat back, SR intake, SS AFC and a bunch others that dont really relate to hp gains. Any suggestions? Again thanks to everyone for the help.

230 whp?? or from the block?? Look up Slo03.5MSP he's making 240whp at 14PSI on the stock turbo. So far That's the most I've seen on a stock block and stock turbo.

Stock boost is 6-7 psi.. so you're not spiking, you're exactly where you should be. And 230 HP on stock block and turbo is a bit much, 200 is a more optimistic goal with your mods.

Yeah to get into the 200s you are going to have to do something with the IM, up the boost alittle and loose the cat.

yea i wanna get that single cast intake manifold from protege garage. He has dyno results saying they pulled like almost 18-20 hp with it added to a msp. Its either the intake manifold or a fidanza flywheel and another clutch while Im at it
