I am new to mazda's but absolutely love my new speed 3. I am wanting to really drop the car soon because the wheel gap is killing me. I want the tires to just be right at the fenders, maybe even a small tuck. Is this possible and if so what do you guys suggest? Coilovers? Springs?

Thanks

The only thing that is going to get you that look is coilovers. Springs wont go low enough. We sell H&R coilovers for your car here. If you have any questions just let me know.

Thanks, I figured that was going to be the answer. I am gonna have to do some big savings to get those.

Coilovers are the way to go. Your ride quality will be better with a set of matched springs and dampers versus just slapping a set of lowering springs on the stock dampers. They aren't very good to begin with IMO, so you'll most definitely shorten their life that way.

Good luck! (2thumbs)

Umm... O_o I'm on H&R springs with Koni dampers. And I'm almost tuckin'. You don't need to spend almost $1400 to get the look you're after.

I was thinking just springs with stock dampers, but yeah yellows + springs would do the trick too.
