Niceeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I like the color choice. How much did you lower it? It looks great!

This past weekend at MidOhio was awesome. I didn't push very hard at all due to being on all-season tires and having worn brakes, but it was still an amazing experience!

I Will have summer wheels and new brakes before the next event. Or I won't bother running... Brakes are a must have first, then wheels and tires if the money comes up.

Thanks!^^^ low and functional, hehehe

Updated my first post with everything. Been spending a lot of time looking at brakes and wheels/tires. Now I just need the money to pull the trigger. 3 more weeks and I am done with school, so that will help out my financial situation!

Do you have any pictures of the coilovers on the car? How does the ride compare to stock?

I don't have pictures of the coilovers installed on the car. This page does, however--just remove the space between 'mazda' and 'speeders'
http://www.mazda speeders.com/index.php?topic=110060.0

As for ride quality, they are basically 34 way adjustable damping. 0 is softest and 34 is hardest. I have mine set to 13 in the front and 16 in the rear. Riding in the front seats is stiff; you hit a bump and THUNK!--but then it is over, no floatiness or additional movement. I have not ridden in the back, but I have had friends back there for an hour drive--they told me it was nearly unbearable after about half an hour!

But my philosophy is all about 'go big or go home' so I don't mind the harshness and NVH of my modifications. You might want to get a ride with me or Pablo first before thinking of buying them, however. Let me know and I will take you around!

That link is awesome thanks for the info! :) I definitely agree with the "go big or go home" philosophy. I'm at almost 75k miles on my stock suspension and it is making some strange noises over certain bumps so I have to think that I'm getting close to needing to replace them.

Happy to hear that you had fun at Mid-Ohio, I love that place! Have you picked out the next driving event you'll be doing?

Doesn't look like I will be doing any more driving events at this point, Will. I don't think brakes and new summer wheels will be coming anytime soon, plus I just found out I have a few things going on around the same time as the next two Mid-Ohio NASA events. If anything, I will try and get to Nelson Ledges once later this year if things work out. But I graduate college in a week and need to focus on saving money and paying the car off, I think.

Along that note, I threw Code P0401 (clogged EGR valve)--one week before taking a trip to Virginia. The good news is the CEL went back off late last night while driving home from my girlfriend's house. Going to try and clean it up a little today and hopefully that works. Immediate plans before the trip to Virginia:

1. Wash, wax and full detail
2. Change oil
3. Fix CEL

Sounds good! Nelson Ledges is a fun place, you'll have to let me know when you go out there. Good luck with your trip to Virginia. VIR I'm guessing?

Yeah, spending a week at Cape Charles with the GF to visit her mom, then hitting up Grand-Am at VIR with the rest of the gang on the way back!

I love Seafoam! This is a start up after my car drank a full bottle through two major vacuum lines. The s*** on the ground was just from the time it took running the car the idle to drink up the Seafoam. I then turned the car off and let it sit for a few minutes--upon startup, this is what happens!

Drove from NE Ohio to SE Virginia, hitting up the Blue Ridge Parkway along the way:

Spending the week on the beach, then off to VIR for the Grand-Am race this weekend!

1700 mile roadtrip was a success. Of course, as soon as I got home I threw a CEL. I'm guessing the EGR is plugged-so I ordered a new EGR valve gasket from RockAuto and am going to tear that whole thing out and clean it up real good.

My second issue with the car involves my DDMTuning halos. Driver side fuse keeps blowing. I'm no electronic expert, so any suggestions would be great. It lasts about a day with a new fuse and then poof! I need to pull that system out and take a look for water damage or something...

Hoping to get both of these things done this week. I also did a beach photoshoot in Virginia that is ready to be uploaded to Flickr. Once that is done, i will update with some pics. Also, I changed oil before the trip (just after the seafoam) at 73500 miles. She now has 75500 miles!

Castrol shoud be contacting you about the case of oil for helping out @ VIR. So make sure you get that Casterol Edge w/ titanium and have an oil change on us!

For the HIDs: Check for any exposed wires or wires that are being grounded that shouldn't be first. My next guess after that would be a bad ballast. Try swapping the ballast on the driver side to the passenger side and see if you blow the fuse on the side.

If you have a multimeter or ammeter it might be possible to check the current to each light?

Yes, thank you for that Marlon. I think Lauri has me all hooked up. It was really unnecessary, as I love being able to assist the corrals. But thank you nonetheless, it is appreciated!

Yeah, those are some good thoughts. I will try some of that as soon as I have a little time to spare working on it. Tomorrow evening is looking like it has possiblities, and my dad will be available to help out--he is an electrical guru! I just hope it is nothing too serious, because then I would have to unplug my halos...
