Who ever said it was a SUPER TURBO? I think it is nothing more than a damn paper weight!!! I would like to know where you got your "it is the exact same thing" info from. I got my info from Robert at Forced Performance, a friend in NJ who is a Turbonetics dealer, Marco at Magnus Motorsports and a friend at Majestic Turbo.

Now, let me know who your sources are that say they are the same thing as a standard T-25..

I never said they were a great or even good turbo, just that they do outflow the standard T-25 a bit, that's all.. Flow numbers don't lie- the standard T25 flows mid-upper 300's for CFM (off the top of my head, been a while) you yourself said 405 cfm for this one, but I think it is a bit more. Just a ball bearing center section does not increase compressor airflow  ..

too much hearsay from both of us...i cant find the links that compare cfm..im about to go to bed..so here..ill leave you with this...i dont know how to convert ppm to cfm or lbs/min...

9/10 web sites ive visited have said garrett t25 turbo..no gt25r..no t25r...etc...so i believe it is the top turbo on that chart..since that is the name that has most commonly been used when describing it.

by the way thats turbonetics.com

OK, I'll look into it some more.. According to everyone I have spoken with, it is a GT25R. I read it somewhere also, just can't remember where. I'll find it again though :)..

I'm not trying to slam or flame you, I just want to get to the bottom of this crap for everyone else's sake. For what I plan on doing with the car long term, I could care less what turbo comes on it :).. It is just important to get facts, not "I heard it has this" and that is what I have been spending the last couple of days trying to do. Later.

It didn't on mine.. I guess some people have had good luck with it, but I don't see how a CAI will stop the problem ... If it is a mapping/timing issue, a CAI will do nothing for it..
