You have the same boost gauge I do.
Does it read less than 0 when the car is turned off?

Mine was at 0 until the first time I used it, now it's less than 0...

Fun.

xsivspd, how is your car running now? No problems going from 5psi to 10 like that? No side effects after almost a year of use?

Absolutely no concern with 10 PSI.
I am currently at 14 PSI for the past months with no failures to this point.
Except for the clutch which burnt out, now running ACT 4 puck and a fidanza flywheel which took some time to get used to. I am now awaiting the next portion of EMS.
Have a great day.

Wow man thanks for the great how to. What a help. I just ordered my joep and already know how to install. I know it's been said a few times before me, but thanks! Also good to know 10psi is safe. I have similar mods (injen cai, corksport exhaust) and was a little unsure of how much boost over stock I should go. Thanks again!!

My setup is completly different from the one that's posted. Heres the pic. Which lines do I connect to the mbc?

Your setup is not stock. Someone changed the lines. From the picture is hard to tell where the wastegate line feeds from, I see no "T" junction. (unless is the white one)

I changed my monitor settings and now I can see better. The line to use is the one at the bottom, just after the "T" (white), straight down.

hey ok so now you only have a 2 prong boost controller and i have DSCN0556.webp.... i think this is how you atttach it but i have the ebay version of the manual boost controller and i want to know because i have 2 peieces.. 1 big one with two ends and 1 small one with 3 ends so how do i hook this up without messing it up

help me please!!!1

so how would i hook this one up because it has more hose fittings and i am so lost lol....... have a uni-chip comming so i want to put boost at 9psi so please help me......... and i know what one to remove but how do i remove the stock boost controller...DSCN0556.webp

boost gauge installs are easy all you do is hook negative to a ground or hook it to any metal on your car and the positive wire will hook into your stock gauge lighting yellow wire and rund the vacum hose will hook into a u shaped hose on your intake manafold shouldnt be hard to find just look around... small u shaped and splice that in half run a 3 hose fitting on there and hook it in than your gauge should be working.... i will post pics tomorrow

OK, so I think I've got this strait, but want to double check... the side port goes to the WGA, the bottom port (opposite the adjuster) goes to the vac/boost source, right?

And looser (counterclockwise) lowers the boost...

I put mine in last night and successfully boosted to 14psi for moment today. woops!
