No, it doesn't do anything for our cars as far as I know. Do a search to learn more.

Someone reported getting, something like, 8hp on a pt cruiser. However, I can't find the webpage.

Also, I think you have splice into the electrical system(not sure, though). I don't think 8hp is worth it.
