JDM springs?

no link in the second post... lol at the first link those are the springs that i believe used to be passed off as teins till they got their ass' caught... i wouldn't go near them honestly...

I would stay clear of ebay, too many knock off's. Why trust something as important to something cheaply made.

ebay isn't always that bad. yeah there are crap parts, but some times you can get good deals on the real thing. got my injen intake off ebay for about 200 bucks. Not bad, free shipping and it was the real deal. I think it's more of someone actually looking into the product than ebay selling trash all the time.

JDM has been thrown around so loosely in the past few years, everything listed on ebay seems to have JDM somewhere in the auction...of which 99% of them aren't even really JDM anything.

Anything sold that is not a known brand from a known distributor or manufactuer should be passed up or researched deeply....but that initself is a hassle and i'd rather buy the real deal form the real distributors/manufacturers. That auction is obviously trying to tell you they are TEIN springs without directly saying so....S-TCH...WTF!?...that says they have no clue and can merely just re-manufacture parts or buy the cheapest parts they can find and slap a name on them thats close to what a good brand name spring has...

I agree, it's not ebay, it's the foolio sellers who trash it. (not to say all buyers are #1 either...but the product is not represented truthfully)

yeah there was a thread a while ago about how tein springs were being copied and how to find out if you got the copies or the real deal off of e-bay the week after i saw that thread these "jdm" springs showed up... pretty much they got caought and are now selling them as jdm springs and probably aren't tested or anything just thrown together using recycled cans or something lol... carefull of what you buy you gotta sort through the crap but there are some jems for sure on ebay.

"s-tch style"

anything with the word "variant" or "style" (like volk-style, bride variant) is counterfeit crap. those 2 words probably keep the auction from being closed down. Then again, why would ebay remove an auction when they'll be getting a commission from it after a misinformed buyer actually wins it? don't buy. you wouldn't want any suspension piece to break while you're on the freeway. If that ever happens, i got dibs on your MSP shift knob.

haha, yeah i wouldnt do it myself but i wanted to know if anyone else had tried it or people had any thoughts on it.

Beware also of the word "style" thrown in. These are cheap chinese copies not even worth 10 bux. STAY AWAY, they can be dangerous as well

sure if you want some TE!N S-TCH's then go ahead.

if you would like some TEIN S-TECHS then i would suggest going with a reputable dealer/website.
