I wonder how many Japanese MP3s they built?

Nice to know there are right hand drive versions of our cars floating around. Wouldn't one of those be cool to own?!

how come the pics show that all the MP3s have no yellow indicater lights in the headlight module?

because Japan doesn't have that stupid law saying that the front of the car must have orange reflective pieces when not lit  hence all the 'JDM' clear corners for all different types of cars in the US.

oh man... what is wrong with the US reg.??

80% the ppl driving around here don't even use their signals when they change lanes or turn (which is really dangerous in my opinion).... as if they would care if their corners were clear or yellow....

Cool shots...I'll take one of those please...and I believe I'd like the yellow RX7(?) in the shot as well!

It's the SPORT20!!!!

To my understanding......The MP3 in Japan are not called MP3....
You know how our P5 in Japan are called Familia. I know they are just called the Familia Sedan.Go here

I went through the site, looked at the specs page, and realized these aren't MP3s, these are SPORT20s WITH the 167hp FS-ZE!!!

and oh yeah, the 'lazer blue' paint is not limited edition color in Japan like it is here for the MP3. The body kit is the only distinction that gave away the hint that these are Sport20s.

The pictures is from the Japan Protege (they call it Familia) club. I believe they have less than 250MP3.
Which is 170PS and 4WD drive.

those headlights are also the dual proj version found on the PR5's no the crappy ass single kind

I checked the Mazda Japan web site last year before I got my MP3. It is familia under the limited edition section, and there are 100 in Japan. As far as I know, this is the only place outside of North America with this special edition.
